I will guide you to help restore balance in your home for you and your dog by using a common-sense approach to solving behavior problems.
Dogs don't come with instructions and they don't speak our "human" language but they can tell us what they need by the behavior they exhibit. S.I.T.T. will work with you by helping you create a happier home for you and your dog. I am not a certified trainer or behaviorist and I don't claim to be a miracle worker. However, I am experienced with rescue/shelter dogs, and will go above and beyond to research your needs and provide you with the most thorough information in regards to your situation.
I don't practice any form of negative reinforcement discipline. All recommendation on how to help you overcome your obstacles will be stressing positive reinforcement and will be customized to your dogs needs.

Important notice:
The most important thing is to first make sure your dog is healthy, current on all vaccinations and current on Heart worm preventative medicine and flea and tick control. Please check your dogs medical history to insure this is all up to date. If you need a referral to a reputable veterinary clinic please let me know and I will be happy to help.
I will only work with those committed to doing everything they can to make things better for their dog. If you feel you can’t commit the time necessary to making life better for your dog and would like alternatives please visit www.petfinder.org or call your local Humane Society for information on responsibly and professionally training or possibly re homing your dog.
Remember any issues your dog has will go with him/her to the next home and possibly more from the trauma of being separated from you.
